Surside Beach is an island set in between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. Watch waves and sunrises over the beach and boats and sunsets over the bay. The Beach Retreat is beachside and set back just enough to retain a beautiful gulf view yet offer some privacy from beach goers.
Just because you’re at the beach doesn't mean you have to live like a bum. The Beach Retreat has all the desired modern amenities to make you feel at home. The Beach Retreat was built and furnished with vacationing guests in mind. You won't feel like you’re in someone else’s house when you’re at the Beach Retreat. You'll feel as if you’re in a tropical resort. The Beach Retreat is all about comfort, and enjoyment. There's a picnic area for outdoor barbeques. When you come back from the beach an enclosed hot outdoor shower is awaiting. You can enjoy the beach views while getting a tan on the private sun deck or sipping a cool beverage under the covered patio.
Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a family get together, everyday at the Beach Retreat is fun-filled and memorable.
Beach Retreat is tastefully decorated with Tropical Themes.
The Living Room is open to the Kitchen and dining area. The Living Room theme is Tropical Leaves.
The two full size futon sofas are covered with a tropical leaf pattern with matching throw pillows. There is a large mirror above one of the sofa to give the room an even more open feeling.
The coffee table is centered atop a Bamboo area rug. The end table as well as the coffee table is accented with beautiful Tropical Orchids in matching Bamboo containers. A colorful Parrot painting and four tropical leaf squares complete the seating area.
For your viewing entertainment we provided a 20 inch LCD TV mounted on a swinging arm so you can get the perfect viewing angle. The DVD player can also play DIVx/VCD/MPEG4 video formats as well as audio CD's, MP3's and JPEG picture disks.
The Dining Room / Kitchen theme is tropical fish. You will find three large tropical fish above the kitchen cabinets. Three colorful hanging puffer fish made from coconut shells hang below the kitchen sink light. Along the back wall we added an artificial aquarium. We figured you may not want to feed any live fish during your stay.
The Dining area has a large table with 8 chairs. There are two bar stools at the Kitchen island to accommodate 10 in all. Hand painted ceramic fish are hung along the dining room walls continue the tropical fish theme from the kitchen.
These six tropical fish is what started the whole tropical fish theme. We mounted them on top of a cottage style coat hanger and placed it in the most prominent place in the house, the hallway of course.
On the other side of the hallway is a simple but yet appealing painting of a beach and umbrella. We placed a bamboo end table underneath just to fill in the large hallway.
The Master Bedroom and Bath theme is Tropical Flowers and Palm Trees. You will find a Queen size Bed luxuriously covered in a tropical comforter, pillow shams, and throw pillows. A palm tree painting is centered above the bed. Four Orchid flowers are placed on the south-west window. Two tropical flower paintings are placed on each side of the south-east windows. By the way there is a great beach view from this master window. We placed two casual driftwood chairs beside the window for your relaxation.
The Master Bath shower curtain has palm trees to complete the tropical theme.
The Kids Bedroom is a surfer theme. The bedding is a Hawaiian surfing design. There are two surf board pictures above the full sized beds. Four ceramic surfing signs completes the "surfs up" appeal.
The second bathroom also takes on the surfer theme with a beachy surfer floor mat, surfer wall signs, and a surfboard soap dispenser.
What makes the Beach Retreat so special is the views! The panoramic views of the Beach and Bay from the deck are wonderful. Every window of this beach house also has something to see.
You can see the wonderful outdoor living space, there's a large sun deck and covered porch. There's a picnic area downstairs complete with Large barbeque grill, Picnic Table, and a warm water shower.
As you can probably tell, we are very proud of our beach retreat. We selected everything based on pleasing our guests. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed when in our beach house. We want your visit to be most enjoyable. We want you to bring home a lifetime of beautiful memories.

Two bedrooms, two baths, sleeps ten. One queen bed (Master BR), 2 double beds (2nd BR), Two Futon sofas double-size bed / couch (Living Room). Accommodates up to 10 people.
NO SMOKING INDOORS NO PETS ALLOWED- We cannot make exceptions to this rule. There are children who are allergic.
